ABOUT US

St Monans Church is in a former fishing and boat-building village in the beautiful East Neuk of Fife and just inland, includes the farming community of Abercrombie. It is part of the Presbytery of Fife.

OUR MISSION

We warmly welcome you and encourage you to share the word of God, to come and re-charge your spiritual batteries.

WHAT WE DO

We meet regularly for worship, to study the Bible and to fellowship together.

We are active in our community, serving and helping where we can.

OUR COMMUNITY

The Church is an important part of

St Monans life and we are active in the community. Our church hall is used by many community groups, including the St Monans Singers, Community Council, International Food Festival and the St Monans Community Arts Festival. The Church also is involved in St Monans' traditional annual Sea Queen Day.

Learn: Understanding Our Faith

"The path to greater knowledge and understanding of the Christian faith is not an easy one. The ways and works of God are not always readily apparent or easily grasped – not for nothing did Paul suggest that what Christians believe was ‘foolishness’ according to human wisdom (1 Corinthians 1.18)."

Learn: Understanding Our Faith introduces readers to thinking in more depth and in more detail about their Christian faith through the exploration of seven core themes of faith:

Knowing God
God the Creator
God the Saviour
God the Spirit
The Christian Church
The Christian Life
The Heavenly Things

Each theme opens with a short Bible study which serves to link the witness of Scripture directly to questions that arise in the lives of believers.
